Lifestyles and Interiors by Lisa opened doors in March 2006 in the quaint river town of Croton-on-Hudson. Designer Lisa McTernan consciously strives to surround her clients with the best possible environments for their lives and style.

"Putting together a space to showcase all the treasures I have found has been an amazing journey," says McTernan. "A well designed room should not look like a showroom of matching pieces, but rather a space made up of unique items gathered over time."

The philosophy that underscores Lifestyles and Interiors by Lisa's design approach is simple: Like a party full of interesting people, a room should be made up of pieces with differing personalities and backgrounds, some timeless, some trendy, some polished and elegant, and others, a little rough around the edges.

Lifestyles and Interiors by Lisa's shop is a place to visit, a place to feel welcomed—like a friend's home. Not only does it offer interior design services, but also it has an ever evolving collection of interesting pieces for your home.

Named "Best of Westchester" in 2007 by Westchester Magazine, Lifestyles and Interiors by Lisa has participated in several show houses: at the Riverstrip show house in Nyack, McTernan designed a laundry room that was highlighted in Good Housekeeping magazine. The boudoir she designed for the Madame Walker Show house in Irvington was featured in a TV special on HGTV.
